Australian QLS Group And GREENMAX Cooperate in Polystyrene Recycling Project
The QLS Group, headquartered in Dandenong, Victoria, Australia, is a national-level warehousing and logistics company that provides services to the white and brown goods industry. It has a total storage area of 57,000 square meters and serves 97% of Australia's population. Half of Australia's home appliance companies rely on imports, and QLS Group provides links with home appliance manufacturers and well-known local distributors around the world.
In 2013, QLS Group established an E-cycle Solution subsidiary to respond to the Australian government's scheme called National Television and Computer Recycling Station (NTCRS), helping retailers recycle expanded waste polystyrene packaging.
Through local agents in Australia, QLS Group purchased 4 sets of Polystyrene melting machines from South Korea for use in warehousing and logistics distribution centers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. However, due to the complicated structure of the machine and the inability to keep up with the after-sales service, the cooperation between QLS Group and the Korean recycling machine company is full of bumps. For example, it always takes more than 2 weeks to receive the machine accessories from the manufacturers, and the maintenance of the machine requires additional payment.
In this case, QLS began to cooperate with GREENMAX, when the regional manager of GREENMAX, Wenny, found the person in charge of E-cycle Solution and provided a set of customized waste polystyrene packaging recycling solutions.
After 4 years of uninterrupted cooperation, the manager of QLS decided to replace all the old Korean polystyrene recycling machines with GREENMAX polystyrene melting machines. In 2017, GREENMAX M-C300 polystyrene melting machine was put into use in a distribution center of QLS, and the warehouse manager Chris praised the machine for its simple structure, easy maintenance and high efficiency.
According to the customized solution provided by the GREENMAX regional manager, QLS has formed a favorable cycle of polystyrene recycling systems. They collected the waste polystyrene foam and hot-melted them into dense ingots with the help of GREENMAX polystyrene melting machine, thereby saving the storage space and transportation costs. Then the hot-melted polystyrene ingots will be sold to GREENMAX for pelleting and reusing to make decoration products such as photo frames.
Established in the United States in 2008, GREENMAX is the brand of polystyrene recycling machines owned by INTCO Recycling, the polystyrene recycling specialist located in Auburn NSW, Australia, providing customers with one-stop polystyrene recycling solutions.
